Across the island, only 1 km from Mali Lošinj, is the perfect entry level shore dive spot.
Right in the middle of Čikat bay lies an underwater historic park of 11 different exponents that have been placed on the seabed at a depth from 5 to 15 meters.
The exhibit includes replicas of cannons from the 16thcentury, ancient amphora, weapons from WWII and Venetian cannons as well as a replica of the ancient statue of Apoxyomenos, that had been found by chance in 1996. If you're lucky to get a day with good visibility, you can see Apoxyomenos through the clear water all the way from the surface.
